We keep our class sizes small to help ensure each student receives the attention they deserve.  Each class is by placement, there are classes available for ALL ages and abilities!  

Fall 2023 Schedule

Monday 4:45 – 5:15 – creative movement, pre-ballet – PK – ages 3, 4, 5          

Monday 5:15 – 6:00 – ballet, tap – grades K – 2 

Monday 6:00 – 7:00 – ballet, tap – grades 2 – 4         

Monday 7:00 – 8:15 – ballet – grades 5 – 8 

Monday 7:00 – 8:00 – tap, contemporary – grades 6 – 8 *

Tuesday 5:00 – 5:30 – creative movement, pre-ballet – PK – ages 3, 4, 5

Tuesday 5:30 – 6:00 – contemporary – grades 5 – 7 *         

Tuesday 6:00 – 7:15 – ballet – grades 5 – 8 *

Tuesday 7:15 – 7:30 – pre-pointe *  

Tuesday 7:15 – 8:00 – tap – grades 9 – 12 *

Tuesday 7:30 – 8:00 – jazz – grades 5 – 8 *

Tuesday 8:00 – 9:00 – jazz – grades 9 – 12 *

Wednesday 5:15 – 5:45 – creative movement, pre-ballet – PK – ages 3, 4, 5

Wednesday 5:45 – 6:30 – ballet, tap – grades 1 – 3 

Wednesday 6:30 – 7:45 – ballet, contemporary – grades 8 and up

Thursday 5:30 – 6:30 – ballet, tap – grades 3 – 4 

Thursday 6:30 – 8:00 – ballet; 8:00 – 8:30 contemporary; 8:30 – 9:15 pointe – 9 – 12 * 

Thursday 6:45 – 8:00 – ballet – grades 5 – 7

*  Some previous dance experience needed for these classes.

Class placement is at the discretion of instructor.

Class schedule is subject to change if there is not sufficient enrollment. 

Dress Code

Girls

  • Leotards
    • Solid colors, nothing flashy or distracting
    • No biketards
  • Skirts
    • Not required, but you are welcome to wear one
    • Solid colors, single layered
    • No fluffy tutu style skirts
  • Tights
    • Pink tights
    • Caramel tights are sometimes used for Contemporary
    • Transition tights are recommended for dancers in Contemporary or Pointe
  • Shoes
    • Pink Ballet shoes- canvas or leather, split soles for grades 3 and up
    • Black Jazz shoes
    • Caramel Tap shoes for grades K-6, Black Tap shoes for grades 7 and up
    • Half-sole shoes are used for Contemporary, ask your teacher before purchasing
    • Pink Pointe shoes- must be checked by Carol Tetmeyer before wearing
  • Hair
    • All dancers grades 3 and up must have hair in a secure bun before class starts.
      • If your hair is too short for a bun, then secure it away from your face
    • Preschool and Kindergarten dancers may have hair in a ponytail.

Boys

  • Black pants, shorts or tights
  • Plain white t-shirt
  • White socks
  • White ballet shoes
  • Black tap shoes
  • Hair secured away from face

Other Information

  • No sweatshirts, pants, socks, or other outerwear can be worn in class
    • In cold weather, your teacher may determine if you can keep some warm up clothes on for a short period of time.
  • No dangling/flashy jewelry or Apple Watches in class
  • Used shoes are available at the studio (limited sizes)
